Here's that tier 9 preview Justin was so sorely missing:

And an extremely good article on the 3.2 emblem changes, I highly recommend reading it:

sadly once again gear is not very pretty

where did the good ideas go to?

i greatly prefer pre bc sets then sets today

I love how the tier is seriously like the same for each class, just recolored. At least with tier 8, though some of it was ugly, it was unique to the class. Some of it even came out looking good. Like tier 8 priest. omg.... /orgasm.

But no, this stuff just looks silly. Way to go, blizz, way to go.

So, I was lurking a thread on the blizz forums about this, and this made me giggle:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q u o t e:
You
would think that the argument over t9 would be one of quality. In my
opinion the skins are just that: skins. If you need to look hawt while
doing phat dps, or hardcore tanking, or insane healing then that's
just...well I dunno what it is, but it's slightly more on the funny
side.

Uh... because we are playing a video game? Keyword there being
'video' as in visual. Not everyone is like you and plays World of
Spreadsheet. Some of us would actually like some decent graphics to go
with our new gear.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"World of Spreadsheet"
Lol<3

Well, i'm now the most Ulduar experienced raider in my guild. rofl.
Its funny too, because not too long back some elitist prick in our guild was bitching about how i'm not even fit for heroics, which... idk how he figured that. Everyone got pissed at him though. lol.

But yeah.
Did up to General today with a different guild on my server. Wiped a few times. Hoping to pick it back up tomorrow.

You gonna own the new instances/raids right when they come out in the next patch then?

Also is your warlock still your main?

PostSubject: Re: World of Warcraft   12/07/09, 12:45 pm

As Ben would say, as long as you're not a Paladin, lol.

And is it just me or does it seem lately that a lot of the new content is class-independent? Like the Flame Leviathan, Jousting, etc. Maybe it's their way of trying to bring "skill" back into the game?

News tiem:

1. The onion has a silly opinion article on a ZA raid, I giggled.
http://www.theonion.com/content/columnists/im_not_questing_with_you?utm_source=b-section

2. There's been a lot of changes to the 3.2 patch notes regarding professions lately, but here's a summary from Wow insider:
http://www.wow.com/2009/07/11/insider-trader-patch-3-2-keeps-getting-better/#continued

But... Flame Leviathan takes no skill. You can just spam "starting 25man flame lev" in trade, take literally anyone who whispers for an invite, and go faceroll. :<

So, I was just looking at the Horde t9 stuff, and I am relieved because though its not awesome, the DK stuff will look fine with a tabard thrown over it.

Though, whoever colored the Paladin t9 needs to be kicked in the dick. Thats seriously some of the tackiest shit I've ever seen. Poor Brentt, his pally is going to look gayer than aids.

New halloween masks may point to new races:

http://www.wow.com/2009/07/17/new-halloween-masks-point-to-a-new-playable-race/

Kinda reminds me of that conversation with Justin on how if there were new races added to the game, there'd have to be a little guy for horde and a furry for alliance, just to even the selection out.

Also, some guy just became the first person to hit 10,000 achievement points:

http://armory.wow-europe.com/character-achievements.xml?r=Aegwynn&cn=Zoltan&gn=Refuge

Go figure it's in Europe =P
